Honestly, I have never seen anything like this. I told Julia on the way to school this morning that this is another first for us. The day she goes back to school after spring break, the snow is falling so thick we can hardly believe it. Then there is the “white Easterâ€.
What a great service we had yesterday. No, it was not perfect. But the Spirit of God was so sweet in that service. And a big thank you to Amy who did an absolutly beautiful job on that song. It was wonderful to see all the new faces. I’m sure we will continue to see new faces as long as we remember that ‘our mission is fishinâ€. Hopefully, this is the last snow we will see this spring. I’m ready for the warm weather.
Please pray for us as we travel this week and as we get our house ready to sell again. Also pray that it sells quickly. I would love for that to be one less thing for us to have to be concerned about. Our real estate lady just called as I am writing this and said the house doesn’t look too bad. So maybe we won’t have a lot of work to do.
Remember, we want to hear from you. I will be keeping up with you through this blog this week so keep in touch. Have a wonderful day.
Ok, before I start writing, I want to put something out there so that I make sure I did it right. I am not the professional blogger that Phyllis is.
You did it right. Professional? yeah right. This is my first time too. If can do it anyone can.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hey Brenda, ya did it. Good afternoon everyone. I just got a minute after catching up from a great week off to read the blog. Yesterday was great. And yes, I need alot of prayer, I guess we all do, huh? Love you girls.
Pray for VA Tech kids, there was a shooting this morning, they say there are 21 dead.
As you all know, Spirit FM is my favorite station because it keeps me Godly minded all day long. Dr. Tim Clinton just updated that the death toll is up to 32 with 28 injured (4 critically). God only knows what the final numbers will be but absolutely we have to be prayer minded toward these families. I am not aware of anyone at Virginia Tech but now is time for us to pray for those we don’t know. Keep in mind, it is also share-a-thon time.
I just heard about that. I will be trying to stay up to date as the day goes on. That is so sad.
I will be leaving here in a few minutes so go see my son and take care of house business. I will miss you ladies but will keep up while i’m there. We decided to leave a little early.
Some one email me if there is anything we need to know.
I will help to be your eyes and ears while you are gone. You all be very careful and if we can do anything for you back here all you have to do is call/write/whistle, whatever. We will miss you all toooo!!!!
Looks good to me, but then again anyone who can operate one of these contraptions is a professional in my book.
its Wednesday, and I have to work overtime to finish alot of stuff. I was in an awful state yesterday. I listened to the radio all day and my heart just ached for all those families. We had to go pick up Darin in Roanoke on Monday night, so I called Kala and had her meet us there to have dinner. I just had to hug her and let her know how much I loved her. We just never if it will be our kids who are next. We need to pray that there will be a host of people saved through this awful tragedy. Love and prayers ya’ll.
we never know if it will be our kids.(correction)
