Hello Ladies,
I wanted to remind everyone that tonight (Tuesday) is ladies fellowship. Carolyn Cox will be our speaker. I am so looking forward to hearing her. If you don’t usually come out, make this your first time.
It starts at 7:00. See you there.
Good Morning Everyone,
I wanted to say a few “thank you’s” to some people for all the work that went into the service yesterday. First to Brenda for singing my favorite song (Everything to me). I know it was a lot of work but I loved it. Then to Meredith for playing for us and Nathan for the “technical stuff”.
We started off the service with ‘Revive us Again’ and ‘Send the Light’ in preparation for the message on giving. The message included a few unusual visual aids. Also, thanks to Betty for singing “I know who holds tomorrow”. She did a beautiful job. Also, pastor Harmon and Kenny for the excellent job on the solo’s.
Sunday night we had a special treat when Bill Bennet gave a presentation on his mission trip to Honduras.
Remember we love to hear what you have to say about the service so keep the comments coming. I pray you all have a great week.
The funeral for Nancy Rice will be Friday at 11:00 at the church. The visitation will be tonight from 6-9 at the Memorial Funeral Home. Remember to pray for that family in their loss.
Music practice will be tonight at 7:00 at the church.
Don’t forget to invite someone to church this Sunday and pray that God will bless the service. I think it’s going to be good.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and we will see you tonight.
The ramps were wonderful and so was Ella’s cooking. I told you yesterday I would let you know what we thought of them and we loved them. If you like onions (and we do) you will love them. Thanks to the Hill family for a great supper. Let us know what you think of ramps. Remember to use the comment section as much as you like. We love the feedback.
Most of you already know that Nancy Rice passed away yesterday morning. Please be praying for Ivan and the 3 daughters. We will let you know the details as soon as we know.
God bless you all and I hope you have a great day.
