Right now, I am currently in a predicament where I need to make a very important decision. We are also talking about this in Sunday School and I only wish we started this lesson a month ago. I have now been praying about it for weeks butttt I have not been able to determine what God wants me to do. So many times, I pray about things and you know, you just know what God is telling you to do. In this case, I am just not getting an answer.  God talks to us in so many ways but sometimes other things can distract us from what He is trying to tell us. Well, that’s the way it is for me anyway. How does God talk to you? Do you get signs, visions, dreams, gut feelings, what?Â

I think there are many times when God truly only wants us to do what makes us happy when it comes to making a decision.
Also, inn the verse that says “He will give you the desires of your heart” I wonder if that literally means he will actually put the desire there for the right thing. Many times, I think that is how he reveals his will to us. By putting the desire in us. I think it can be different for each situation though.
Hey Brenda, I had read this one, just hadn’t seen that you had written it. The Lord does sometimes reveal some things in such a way that you cannot doubt that it is from Him, and then sometimes, He might expect us to draw on what we have learned to be able to make that decision. I think that anytime that we have the chance to be able to spend more time with our family and our church and the Lord, that is the right decision. I stay so busy that I find my self neglecting the most important things. Quoting Oswald Chambers, we need to step out in faith, “Supernatural sense is the gift of His Son, and we should never put our common sense on the throne.” What we think maybe right, may just be common sense and not supernatural sense. I’m praying for ya, girl.
