Personal Invitations

I have been reading up a little on the subject of thankfulness and of course in order to be thankful, you have to count your blessings. One of the things we can be thankful for is the fact that God’s has chosen to send new people to our church every week. It seems like Charley and I have this conversation each week. We are amazed by the new people we have attending regularly and the visitors that pop in every week. We are so thankful for that.
But I would like to encourage you this week to do something that is most effective when it come to reaching others. And that is your personal invitations to them. Only you can express to them how God is moving at Mt. Jackson and that you would love for them to be a part of it. So, this week make it a point to call up that person that you have been thinking about inviting and ask them to join you at church this week. Also, invite someone who doesn’t come to Sunday school. The personal interaction we enjoy in a small group is vital. So, remember you have 2 more days to call. Start thinking of the person God would have you invite.
