FYI Friday

-This Sunday is our homecoming at Mt. Jackson. Pastor John Houghton will be our special speaker. We are so looking forward to what he has for us. Don’t forget, there will be no SS and our main service will start at 10:30 am.

-The kids will begin a new Sunday night series next Sunday night. We have a great time over in the youth building so if you haven’t brought your kids out yet, this is a great time to start. Our new theme is a western theme so grab your your cowboy hat and boots and come on out and join us.

-Bob Lane’s aunt Ada Rorrer passed away this week. The viewing will be tonight and the funeral will be Saturday at the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton.

-Let me take just a minute to say a big thanks to Brenda for all her hard work on the Harvest Festival. A lot of work goes in to the organization of something like this. She did a great job as did all those who participated.

-Tuesday will be our special November/Thanksgiving Ladies fellowship. I will be speaking at this one and would love to have you all come out and be with us for an evening of getting to know the other ladies a little better.

Yes, Sunday is going to be a big day. If you haven’t heard Pastor John, you are in for a real blessing. You will see Jesus.
Yes, thanks, Brenda you did a great job on all the games and the festivities. It is a lot of work for those kinds of things.
    Jack had a blast.
Pray for us as we travel to Lynchburg on Saturday for Senior Day with Kala. Yes, this is her last year. It is so hard to believe she has been at Liberty for four years. She is working hard on her degree in Athletic Training and will be taking the certifications soon. Please pray for her.
We will have to miss the funeral of Bob’s aunt, but I am sure that she would understand. Love and prayers guys,

A big thank you to everyone that made the Harvest Festival a big success.

Also, Several of us ladies are meeting at the church tonight about 7:00pm to put the table clothes on the tables and set up the gym for Sunday. Anyone who can come join us. We won’t be there but an hour or so.

    Oh Phyllis,
As much as I want her home, Kala won’t be out of school for a few more years, she is going on to get her Master’s degree. We had a great time on Saturday, the weather was beautiful, but cold. The Flames stomped VMI and Kala did a great job taking care of her part of the team, I think there are 5 other assistants. They have such an awsome program at LU as I am sure the fans at the other colleges think so of theirs. The Lord has really blessed that placed.

I am looking forward to today and Pastor John’s message.
