A note from Heaven

Hello my family,Â I have a poem I want to share with you.Â It is on the front of a sympathy card that I received from Kitty and let me tell you, it has been an inspiration to me.Â I have always been one to send cards to people and often thought whetherÂ they were truly encouraged by them or not.Â So that being said, I have truly been blessed by all of the cards I have received and have been comforted by them.Â So send a card to someone and I can assure you that it will be gladly received.Â

Welcome to Our New Families

We want to welcome the 2 families who joined Mt. Jackson yesterday. They are the Church family (Laura, Jack, Deana, and Carley). Then we also had Jim and Jeanne Hamlin join. These folks have been coming for a few months now and we are so happy they have decided to be a part of us. If you have not had a chance to welcome these families make sure you let them know they are welcome as soon as possible.

Family

Hello my church family and anyone else who may read this.Â If you are not a part of a church family, you don’t know what you are missing.Â

My Church family knows that my Mom passed away Jan 4th.Â I don’t know what I would have done without them to help me emotionally through this time.Â I know my Mom is having the time of her life and I am so happy for her but boy do I miss her.Â As much as I know that she is with Jesus and with my Dad and with all other Saints, I am still depressed without her here.Â I get excited when I think about what she may be doing.Â I know whatI am doing and that is mourning for her.Â My Church family has made that process easier.Â Â They listen when I ramble, they cry when I cry, they laugh when I laugh and they hug me just at the right time.Â Â Family is important.Â There is always room for more at Mt Jackson.Â Â Come and get to know our family and you may want to become one of us.Â I thank God for my Church Family.Â

Good Monday to all of you. I hope you are having a blessed week. I just wanted to give a quick review of our service yesterday. We were truly challenge to not only tell others about our Lord, but to make sure others can see Him in the things that we say and do.

Ladies, don’t forget we will have practice tonight at 7.

Next week we will be announcing our Super Bowl party at the church after the Sunday night service. Start thinking about what kind of snacks you want to bring.

Sunday Review, January 13th

Happy Snowy Monday to you all today. I pray you are all having a wonderful day. We had a great day yesterday. We had music that concentrated on knowing God’s word better in the coming year. The history of how we got our copy of the Bible was very interesting. Specials included, My Savior’s Love, Jesus is coming soon, and Glory-land.

We had a good crowd yesterday, but continue to invite your family and friends. There’s always room for more.

Ladies, don’t forget practice tonight at 7:00. See ya then.

Reminders

Hello everyone! I trust that you are all having a blessed week. I wanted to remind you of a couple of things…

Don’t forget to get me the pictures of you and your sweetheart. I need these as soon as possible. Please put them in a envelope with your name on them and I will return them to you as soon as possible.

Monday night at 7 we will again have our ladies ensemble practice.

Some of the ladies are planning a Valentine dinner but they need your help. There will be a sign up sheet in the back for those who would be willing to help.

This coming Sunday night we begin our new Children’s Sunday Series.

Pray for These Familys

I hope you all are having a great weekend. I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of a couple of things. Clendal Hill is back in the hospital with pneumonia. Please pray that God will strengthen him and that he will be back home soon.
Also, Brenda Beckner’s mom passed away Friday morning. The viewing will be at Memorial Sunday night from 5 til 7 and the funeral is Monday morning at 11. Please pray for this family in the loss of their mother.
