I didn’t really have anything specific to or mind inspiring to write about today but wanted to let you all know that I am thinking about you. Every morning on my way to work, I pray for my Pastor and his family, our church and specific request. I just wanted you all who read this that are members of our church that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope this will encourage you.  For those of you who don’t attend our church that may be reading this, if you are able , come out and visit us.Â
Ladies of our church, you have to come and experience our ladies Sunday School Class. If you come once, I know you will keep coming. Phyllis is very inspiring and you will not be disappointed if you come, she will bless you.Â
Today is a day that my heart has been overflowing with love. Have you every loved someone so much that it hurts? Sometimes when I think about my family, my heart is overflowing with love and thankfulness for them that it will actually feel as though it will burst. I was captured by that feeling again this morning when I dropped Jaime off at school.  He has adjusted so well to his new school this year and I have been so thankful to God for it. As I drove away thanking God for all his blessings and mercy in our lives, I don’t think I could love Him or my family any more than I did at that moment.Â
I also then thought about my brothers, my sisters, and my church family. I love you all more than you will know.  I missed you all Sunday so much and I am thankful for you and all the blessings that you give back to me. Â
I hope you have all had a great start to the week. I wanted to take just a few minutes and review yesterdays service. I’m not sure if you noticed, but we had an extra guitar player. Alex, who is a student at CU, helped us out and we want to say thanks to him. But I would just like to take a minute to brag on the ladies ensemble. This group of ladies worked very hard and learned the 2 songs you heard them sing Sunday morning. They have given up a night every week for several weeks now to come out and practice. I just want them to know that I appreciate the sacrifice of time they have given. They sounded great in spite of the technical difficulties we had. Don’t forget, we practice again tonight at 7.
Our service focus was again on the subject of LOVE. Our specials we wonderful as usual. And the message was again one to make us think about how we love. The Valentine banquet Saturday night, was a good beginning to a great emphasis on the subject of LOVE. The pictures are at the church photos link.
Ladies, don’t forget we will have our ensemble practice tonight at 7. We will be singing this Sunday and I hope to introduce a couple of new songs for that we will be learning for Easter.
Friday night at 7 is our regular music practice.
Saturday night a 6 is our Family Valentine Dinner. Remember, this is also for singles and for families as well as couples. If you are new to our church this is a great way to get to know other members of our church family.
Also, we would like to invite all ladies to come out to the ladies SS class. We have a wonderful time of fellowship and sharing. Remember this is for all ages.
Yesterday and next Sunday we will be concentrating in the subject of love in the morning worship services. Yesterday we were reminding of God’s love for us in the the sermon and the music.
This Saturday will be our Valentine dinner. I’m sure we will have a wonderful time there too.
The ladies ensemble practice will be this Thursday night instead of Monday night. I hope this does not inconvenience anyone. Do you best to be there since we will be putting the finishing touches on the song “Shout to the Lord” so that we will be able to sing it Sunday. I appreciate you ladies who give of your time to come out and practice. I’ll see you Wednesday or Thursday.
I am very much looking forward to the Valentine dinner on Saturday February 16th. This weekend at Liberty University, there is marriage conference called Love for Life. Before my Mom died, I wanted Jim and I to go but since then it slipped up on me. I believe it would be good for all of us to participate.  Several of us at the church gym were talking last night about marriages and how we need to nurture them. I am so thankful for my Husband. I think God made Jim and I for each other and I hope that I can uplift him as I should. I believe that many couples are too often looking at others wanting what someone else has and doesn’t take notice of what they have.   Don’t wait until Valentine’s Day to show your spouse you love them. Â

Just a quick post to remind you all of a few things…
Don’t forget I need you sweetheart pictures by Sunday.
The ladies SS class will resume this Sunday after a short holiday break. Ladies, do you best to be there.
Also, the Super Bowl Party is Sunday night after the evening service. Bring you favorite finger food and come join the fun.
The picture above is from the bowling trip the teens went on this past Sunday. We had a great time. However, I forgot to take pictures until we were finished bowling and were at Wendy’s having lunch. The other pictures are on the Church Photos link on the right side of the page. Hope to see you all Sunday.
