Mt. Jackson Live

Yay, finally a Sunday with good weather. Or that’s what the weatherman says. I’m sure you are like me in that I am thrilled for at the thought of a Sunday with sunshine. Can’t wait to see everyone again. It seems like forever since many of you have been able to get out of your driveways.
We have some great music and preaching planned so do your best to get out and enjoy the beautiful day by being in church this Sunday. And invite a friend too. We think we have a great church, so let’s not keep it to ourselves.

Don’t forget this Sunday, Oct. 4th is homecoming. Our guest speaker will be Mark Dibler. Special music by “Family Harmony”.
So cook up your favorite dishes and come on out and join us for this special day.

Ladies, don’t forget tonight is ladies fellowship. I believe our speaker will be Brenda Beckner. We would love to have some of you ladies that don’t usually get to come.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Laurence Conner came through his surgery just fine. Also, our homecoming has been scheduled for October 4th. Our guest speaker will be Mark Dibler. He and his family will also be singing for us that morning. So start thinking about what you’ll be cooking for this special occasion and time of fellowship for our church.

What: Wednesday Night Youth Program
When: Wednesday, September 9, 2009
Time: 7:00-8:00pm.
Need: Volunteers, Individual Snacks, financial support, Prayers.

The new School year is beginning and with that comes  our Wednesday Night Youth Program. Wanted to remind everyone that we will begin on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00pm. If anyone would like to participate please let us know and we will definitely find a place for you.  We are looking forward to a successful year.   Your support is greatly appreciated.

Our ladies fellowship will be tonight at 7. We would love to have some of you ladies that don’t usually come to come out and be with us. This is a great way to get to know the other ladies in our church.
We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Viewing for Kenny will be Sunday night from 5 til 7 at the Memorial Funeral Directory. The funeral will be Monday morning at 11:00 at the funeral home.
