I Miss My Children!
Posted by Phyllis Rice on June 20th, 2007 filed in GeneralOK, so I know many of you will have absolutely no sympathy for me but let me do a little wining here. Two of my three children are out of town right now and I miss them terribly. I don’t know why their leaving has left me so sad but it sure has. At one point in my life I would have given anything for the peace and quiet if they were away for a while. But not now. My how things change.
Well just imagine what it’s like for our heavenly father when we go days, weeks, or even months and years when we don’t talk to him or have any desire to spend time with Him. Don’t forget him today. Spend a little time with your Lord each and every day. Don’t leave Him missing his child.

You are so right Phylis. I had never thought about our Heavenly Father missing us and the sweet fellowship we have with Him. I am so thankful for this blog and your faithfulness to go on it and inspire me through your thoughts and musings.

I can definately relate to missing children. Jaime just got home last night from WVU Camp in Morgantown and had been gone since Sunday night. I missed him terribly and I don’t usually say it because many women have a tendency to minimize your feelings. Many will talk about how it is a break but quite honestly, I don’t have that feeling. If many would tell the truth, they don’t either.
God so greatly desires our daily walk and I too fall short in this area at times.
Phyllis, I am sending you a hug from one sad Mom to another. Although, I am happy now. Jaime is home.
