Thankfulness

Well, the day has been long but it has been a good day.  God allowed me to live one more day and spend a little more time with my family.  What are we thankful for?  I wanted to tell you what I am most thankful for but there are so many, I can’t begin to tell you how much God has blessed me.  Of course, I am most thankful for salvation and I am very thankful for my family.   I believe in my heart that God chose Jim and Jaime, just for me.   I have so many things it is just too much to tell you but I can say that we need to be more thankful for the little things too.  I thank God for our technology today, including medical practices, appliances, etc.  I was thinking while I was driving of all those little things we take for granite every day.   So I am going to share a secret with you.  Every day and I mean every day, I thank God for TOILETS.  I know, you think I am putting on but I am not.  Every day, when I go to the restroom, I thank God for the potty because, I would have a very difficult time going to the outhouse.  We are so BLESSED!!!

I have so much to be thankful for also. I thank God for my family, my church, my friends,my job, and so many others. Like you, Brenda, there are those little things I often forget about, but am so thankful for. It doesn’t really hit me how much I appreciate such things until I am without them. Here are just a few: toilet paper, laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, and trash pickup is a biggie for me!
