Let’s get talking

Posted by Phyllis Rice on April 15th, 2007 filed in Ladies

Hello Ladies,
I wanted you all to know I appreciate your words of wisdom this morning. Even though we did not get to our lesson, we all got a lesson and encouragement from each other.

For those of you who missed it, we discussed how we all have those sins that we struggle with every day. For some of us these sins are hidden from those around us and for that reason we tend to think we are better than that person that struggles with a very public sin. Not true. To God, sin is sin. We are all extremely sinful beings. If you examine yourself and still feel like you’re a pretty good Joe, ask God to show you the areas in your life that need improvement. He will do it.

The main point I want to make is that we all need to admit that we have major faults and be there for each other when we need help getting the victory over our sin. The last thing we need is some one pointing fingers at us. We need someone who will love us no matter what.

Remember, we love your input. Leave a comment. Anyone is welcome.
Even if you have a different subject you want to discuss.

Thanks ladies. You are a great group of ladies and I feel honored to know each one of you.

.

I feel like I miss a blessing by not being in your class. I agree, we all have those things in our lives that are sins we fail to own up to. Your’e right, sin is sin. Sometimes we think if it isn’t some big bad open sin that it doesnt count but unconfessed sin to God is bad. Pray for me that I will be more open to God and see those little daily no-nos. Phylis I really appreciate you and all the input you have in Pastor Charlies ministry. I count it a priviledge to call you my friend, and although I’m older than you, I feel you are my mentor. Keep up the good work.
