Carolyn, we were just talking this morning about how this VT tragedy would affect the students at Concord. I'm guessing the mood is pretty solemn around there today?

Brenda,we too are glad you are feeling better. We missed you more than you missed us,I promise you.

Concerning the Tragedy at VT. This is way clost to home and now more than ever, we christians need to be praying for our children. Every morning, we MUST, plead the blood of Jesus over them and also pray for our children in our church that they will become great fisherman for Christ.

Just wanted to share how my day is going. I feel better today than I have since Easter and I have thanked God all morning for my energy. We so often when we feel good and are having usual/normal days to stop and thank God for our daily abilities to function. It puts a whole new perspective on life and God helps us to count our blessings daily of health. Jim is doing great. He still has weird symptoms but he is back to his normal self. He has not been bitter through this whole ordeal and for that I am thankful. He has an appointment on Thursday 26th with Dr. Vaught a neurologist in Beckley. We are hopeful that he can relieve some of his symptoms. God has been merciful to my family through this crisis. Thank you God for my husband. Another blessing is the opportunity to serve. I missed being in Church on Sunday morning so bad that God and I had an argument about it and I was a little angry that I felt too bad to go. God has a way of reminding me again about our blessing of having a wonderful church family and the Awesome Pastor that he has sent to us to motivate us to be all we can be in Christ. Charlie and Phyllis, Thank you, for obeying God in being our fearless leader. The last month or so, there is such a sweet peace that flows throughout the church. It sometimes brings chills to my skin when I think about the presence of God being among us. My family is praying that our church will grow and prosper so that people in our community will become curious about what God is doing. God, Bless Charlie and give him what you need us to hear on Sunday. Open our hearts to listen and obey your words and follow your direction. I hope everyone has a good day and I am praying blessings over you all. Love ya

If anyone who is not in our church family stumbles across this message, Please come and see what we are so excited about.

During the past 24 hours, I have been thinking about the students who lost their lives at Virginia Tech. What a horrible tragedy and such a tremendous loss of lives. We can only pray for the survivors and the families. We are not promised tomorrow and we must try to witness to our loved ones. If tragedy strikes, they need to be ready for eternity. Yesterday those who were saved were ushered into the glory of heaven but I grieve for those who didn't know Him.
