Posted by Phyllis Rice on August 27th, 2007 filed in Sunday ReviewWow, we really got our toes stepped on yesterday didn’t we? We are commanded to serve the Lord. That’s the lesson we learned from God’s word. We also had that same basic lesson in our SS class. (Not planned, by the way) Again music that encouraged us to do what we were born to do. Born to Serve the Lord. Kenny and Pastor Hamon did a wonderful job on their songs. We do all need to ask God to show us in what area He would have us to serve others.
The kids had a little wrap up party last night too. We closed our series “Heroes of Mega City” and will next week begin our series called “Shipwrecked”. I look forward to it being every bit as good as the other.

Boy did we ever get our toes stepped on. My favorite statement that Charley made was that God is not broke and doesn’t need us. Sometimes we forget that we will answer to him for all of those things we should have done and didn’t. All of us could use some soul searching in this area.
