Sunday, July 29th
Posted by Phyllis Rice on July 30th, 2007 filed in Sunday ReviewAs we were headed out to Ryans yesterday with our family, James made the comment that Sunday morning’s service might have been the best service we have had so far at Mt. Jackson and I have to agree. And by the way, let me say thank you to the Beckners and the Lamb family for being so generous and sharing their Sunday afternoon with us. We always have a great time with you guys. But back to the service. We had some awesome music. A shelter in the time of storm, In the Shelter of His Arms, Til the storm passes by, and some great specials too. Kenny sang one of my favorite songs, Amy sang one of my favorite songs (Daystar), and the quartet sang one of my favorite songs (There is a Redeemer). Wow, I hope we can say this every Sunday.
This Sunday would not be possible without everyone pitching in and working together. You are all great at that. Thank you so much.
Reminder! Check out the blogs you see on the right side of this page. One is my own personal blog and I would love you to go over and check it out. Have a great week everyone.

I thought yesterday’s service was great too. Charley’s message touched my heart in ways that i can not explain. Jim, Jaime and I have had our share of storms this year and I guess you could say we are still struggling with some of the high winds, but God is sooooo Gooooood. I still don’t understand why our storms have come but God has been faithful and I hope that we too have been faithful to Him as we humans can be. There are so many others in our church family in storms and I pray for those that i know about and I will pray for those that we don’t.

OH, I forgot to say how much, I too, enjoyed the special singing. Amy is always an extra blessing when she is there and able to share her talent.
