Good Morning everyone! I hope everyone had a good start to the work week.
Yesterday our heroes series continued with Mary. A lot of good stuff about her was brought out. Julia did a great job on the song “Mary Did You Know”. And what about that choir. Charley and I were talking this morning about what a good job they did. Then Brenda as usual did wonderful on her song “The Judgement”.
Speaking of Brenda, Friday was her birthday and Charley and I had the privilege of joining her for her birthday dinner at Chili’s, courtesy of Nancy and Gradie. A few pictures are here.
The teens spent the afternoon over at the church grilling hot dogs and were supposed to watch the race but had to resort to video games because the race had a rain delay. Thanks to James for the work he puts in to make sure those teens stay occupied.
I hope you all have a great week and don’t forget the new childrens church program coming soon to Sunday nights. Also, Bible school in about a month. We still need workers so let Donna know if you can help.
I totally enjoyed the entire service. I learned a lot of the chronology that I didn’t know or had been misled on. I thought it was great. The music was tremendous. Brenda on The Judgment really stirs me. The song by Julia just blows my mind to think that when Mary kissed her baby’s face she kissed the face of God, and those little hands would perform mighty miracles, and his sweet little voice was what spoke the world into existence. I can only say, I stand amazed.

Thanks to everyone for making my birthday so special. For anyone that doesn’t know Nancy and Gradie AND Charley and Phyllis on a personal level are missing out on a blessing. I enjoy spending time with them and they are blessing to me in so many ways.
Let’s all be praying for our teens and YES, Thank you James for being a mentor to them. I know that Jaime and Tommy think your great and they love spending time with him. What a place for your child to hang out.

I received such a blessing from both messages yesterday. I had never looked at Mary in such a way. Pastor Charley has a way of bringing things out that I truly love. I too enjoyed Julias song, she has the sweetest voice. As usual Brenda awes me with her singing. I still say she could make a living with her great voice. I am also thankful for all the time James spends with our teens. Tommy and Matthew both need the male bonding he provides them with. I am looking forward to Pastors sermon on Fathers Day about Abraham. Phylis keep up the good work you do on our church blog, as well as allyou do with our youth choir and everything else that concerns our church. Drema

Charley’s messages are like a serial….I can hardly wait to hear the next one. Like Ronnie, I learned a lot about Mary that I didn’t know; but then again, I learn something every time I hear him. Julia’s sweet voice singing “Mary Did You Know” was wonderful. I get cold chills every time I hear that song and concentrate on the words. And there are just no words to describe how I feel when sweet Brenda sings, particularly “The Judgment.”
Drema I too think she could make a living with her voice and I have offered to be her manager.
