Posted by Phyllis Rice on November 12th, 2007 filed in Sunday ReviewWhat a blessing to have the former assistant pastor John Houghton with us yesterday. He had a great message and did some singing for us too. We even through in a last minute song.
The music was a blessing as well.
And as usual our ladies came through with a wonderful meal. Many who were there for the first time commented on how good the food was. We do have some great cooks.

It was so good to see Pastor John and he as usual gave a lot to think about. I want to say that I thank God for my Church family. I enjoy my time with you all and love you with all my heart.

It was a wonderful day and such a joy to see John and Stephanie. The message was great, the food delicious and Julia did a good job on the pictures. She also did a great job on her solo. I heard a comment that when she gets older and her voice is stronger she will take the rafters off that church. Keep up the good work, Julia.

It was truly a great day, the message was a blessing. If we would only remember that we are only in a season, when things go bad. The music was terrific. The food, as always, was too good. Pastor John and Stephanie are great servants of the Lord.
