Jeanne’s statement reminds me of the saying, Life is hard but God is good. That is so true. I disagree with you both. I have the best husband and son in the whole world. God knows that they have put up with me this week. If the devil comes after people who are living right, then I MUST be a Saint. haha.
Phyllis, I hate you are going through a rough time right now and I don’t envy you one bit. You know it is truly our husband (or wife) that is left when our family grows up and I hate to see people not nurture that relationship to find that when their children leave, they don’t even know their spouse very well. I hope we all try to keep our marriages alive and getting better as we age. Phyllis, we will be praying for you.

let me finish my statement; when we let God be holy through us, it is so much easier. The world is still hateful, but the Lord is always faithful.

I am so sorry to have to disagree with you Phyllis, but I have the best husband and kids in the world, even if sometimes I want to wring their lovely necks. I really do appreciate all my husband does, he works so hard with so little rest.
Charley had a terrific message last night. The Lord can do so much more with us when we totally surrender to Him. When we try to be holy by our standards, we get so self-righteous, and as Charley said, “it is so much work”, but when we let God be holy through us. Thank you, Charley.
