Sunday Review
Posted by brendabeckner on August 20th, 2007 filed in UncategorizedCan you believe another Sunday has come and gone? Time just flies by when you are having fun. So let’s take a moment and recap. I have to admit that I only heard bits and pieces of the entire service do to nursery duty.  We tried our best to listen and pay attention as much as possible butt the babies didn’t want to listen as much as we thought they would. haha.Â
Amy, I am envious, God forgive me. Your singing is outstanding. You have such a talent that God has blessed you with. Keep using it.Â
The choir is getting better and better. Hold your heads up and be proud because your doing a great job.Â
Pastor Harmon did a wonderful job filling in for Charley and brought us a message that all of us should take to heart. Of all of the little messages within the message, what stuck with me the most was to Let God be our guide and the center of our mission at Mt. Jackson Baptist Church.  Don’t let our tongues or others tongues guide us, because the damage is not always repairable.
We want to thank God for Charley and Phyllis’s safe trip home. We missed you.Â
Have a great week.Â
PS.  The kids studied about loyalty last night. It was an exciting night because Pow and Kabam finally passed their super hero final. Both passed the loyalty test and the rest is history. We had a great time.Â

I heard that all went well. Everyone really pitched in and did a part so that could happen. Thanks for doing the blog for me Brenda. I read it when I had the means. James said you did a great job with the kids too. I knew you would. I’m really looking forward to starting a new series in 2 two weeks. The “Heroes of Mega City was really good. I just love this program we are doing.

I did put a PS on the main comment, but I am also looking forward to the new series. This program has been wonderful and I hope more of the adults come over and see for themselves what is being taught.
