Although he was orphaned at three years of age and only had a 3rd grade education, he was the smartest man I ever knew. Every morning, he would go to the barn, and on the first step going up to the second story, he kneeled and prayed. He always praised God and thanked him. There was also a chair that he kneeled and prayed at. My mother now has this chair in her house, the seat covering worn where he laid his elbows as he knelt in prayer. I miss him so much, but one day I will see him again! My grandfather is my hero. We married at the young age of 17 and 18. For forty years this man has taken excellent care of me. I have never went without, he always went to work whether he felt like it or not. He was a great Dad to his two kids, and they always had what they needed. He loves the Lord with all his heart and serves Him faithfully. I would have to say that Ronnie is my hero. My Dad too was my Hero as well as my Husband. God only knows how many times he has had to rescue me from many things and he is always right there to catch me when I fall.
